What do I do if a post gets the "Failed" status?

Click the post → view the error message. Most common causes:

  • Token expired — reconnect the social account in Metricool
  • Invalid media format — IG does not accept PNG with transparency; convert to JPG
  • Text too long — shorten to within the platform limit
  • Account restricted — Instagram/LinkedIn has temporarily blocked you; wait 24h

After fix: click Retry to re-trigger publishing.
