How it works

For agencies that use Dropbox as their primary cloud storage, Senly offers a seamless integration. Files from Dropbox folders can be used directly in content, with no download-and-upload cycle.

The integration works through Dropbox's official API with OAuth. For each client you can link a specific Dropbox folder that serves as the asset source.

How to enable it.

  1. 1Open the client in Senly → Integrations → Dropbox
  2. 2Click "Connect Dropbox"
  3. 3Log in to Dropbox and authorise Senly

About the Dropbox integration.

Do I need Dropbox Business?

No. Personal Dropbox accounts work too. For agencies with team access, Dropbox Business is recommended for central management.

What permissions does Senly request?

Read-only for the linked folder. Senly never writes to your Dropbox — assets are only read.

What if I delete an asset in Dropbox?

At the next sync Senly will show that the asset is no longer available. Posts that have already been published keep working (those have already been uploaded to Meta/LinkedIn/etc.).

Can I write files back to Dropbox from Senly?

Not automatically. Senly is read-only for Dropbox. For a backup strategy, this is a safety feature.
